I saw your post on social media- the one where you ask for some love- and I
wanted to reach out. I'm a tribe member, (albeit a little lost) and I wish I had some answer that was a solid heart-warming, definitive peace-making type of letter. But I can tell you this: I understand your pain, because if nothing else, I've felt it. As recently as today. And the thing about it is that it isn't final, it's fleeting, and it pops in with vigor and it can go away just as easy. Go to the gym and punch something, scream so loud in your pillow that tears come streaming even when you didn't expect it. Drink too much wine and sleep in late. Be a little sad, if that's what you need. Then let everything shameful and guilty and mean pour out. Then have a bonfire and let it go. Today. As soon as you can. Make a sanctuary to be in it and with it and then let your self feel relief. Because to win in this life, to win against all the shit that we have to deal with- that's courage. It's not the dying that's scary, it's the living. And it's not something that happens to you, it's something that you can decide- to live, to breathe, to participate in this crazy, miraculous, inexplicable thing called life. Even when it feels all shitty. <3 you girl. Keep your head up.
